I did the clouds pixel-by-pixel ;3;.

Hurhurhurhur, yeah.... It's a chart that shows all hiragana and their romanizations. Let me know if I got one (or 20 XD) wrong; I placed them around 6 am yesterday and I checked over them but I'm not infallible ^^;.

A quick reference for beginning Japanese students!

Eventually I will ^^. This one took a long time to make because I kept changing my mind about things, so I'll probably wait a little while before I make one for the katakana ^^;.

Hiragana is one of the Japanese "alphabets," so to speak. Each character represents a syllable that can be used to form any word in the Japanese language. Hiragana is used for native words (like ゆき [yuki] which means 'snow';) and the other "alphabet," katakana, is used for loan words (like バス [basu] which is 'bus';) or emphasis, so when it's used for native words it's kind of akin to capital letter in English.

So if I wanted to write, "Hajimemashite, Emily Coad desu. Douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu," which means, "Nice to meet you, my name is Emily Coad. Please take care of me," the sentence in hiragana would look like this:

はじめまして、エミリー・コードです。どうぞよろしくおねがいします。

And it's really not that difficult! If you want to learn, go for it; it's so much fun! :D
